Ceiling Fan Light Kits
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock,
this light kit should only be used with the PF Series
paddle fans manufactured by NuTone.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock,
disconnect the electrical supply circuit to the fan before
installing light kit.
IMPORTANT: Refer to the back of this sheet for
important information regarding the installation of the
light kit.
1.
Refer to Figure 1 or 2.
Remove screws securing fan
switch housing cover. Remove cover.
2. Remove center screw or plug from bottom of switch
housing cover.
3.
Refer to Figure 3.
Run light kit wires through center hole
on switch housing cover and screw threaded nipple of light
kit securely into the housing cover.
4. Remove wire nuts from wires marked for light kit use in
switch housing. Connect the white wire from the light kit
to the white wire in switch housing. Connect the black
wire from the light kit to the colored wire from the switch
housing.
5. Secure switch housing cover and fixture to switch
housing using screws removed in step 1.
6. Install shades and lamps. Observe maximum wattage
listed on the back of this sheet and as marked on the light
kit. Restore power and check for proper operation.
