Test sequence examples
Basically, the following instructions apply to all test se-
quences:
- Confirm all entries of numerical values by the
E
key (60)
- When correcting wrong entries, either finish the input using
E
(60) or wait for approx. 3 seconds. Enter new data, old data are
overwritten by this.
- Deletion of old data by
C
key on the remote control unit, if
no
mode of operation is pre-selected.
- All input values can be overwritten.
- Individual axles can be tested again, e.g. after adjustment work.
- Inputs can take place at any desired time during the operation
sequence.
Selection of axles
- The current test is allocated to an axle by the key
a
(64), at
the same time, the current braking force is taken over as rolling
friction.

Only press the key
a
(64) if motory are running and brake
pedal is not actuated.
- The current axle number is increased by the key
a
(64) after
driving off and driving into the roller set by
1
(automatic change-
over).
- Defined axle selection using the keys

(64)

Example:
Subsequent test of axle 2
Drive vehicle axle 2 into the roller set.
Wait for running up of driving motors.
Press keys

Test the service braking system SBS of axle 2.

Drive the test vehicle
slowly
into the roller sets.
Test of the FBS
Using the rotary switch (11) (only BT 6x2),
select the test speed

(5 km/h).

No pre-selection of a mode of operation.
Delete old data by the

key.
Select the automatic mode „Automatik“:
Press the keys

(59) at the same time.
Drive the axle 1 into the roller set.
Wait for running up of driving motors.
Press the key

Slowly increase the braking force.
The run-out is determined automatically, if a braking force of >
600 N is kept constant over a time period of > 4 seconds
(approximately 1 wheel revolution).
Increase the braking force until the automatic slip deactivation
reacts. If there is no slip deactivation, press the key
S
(58) on the
remote control unit. By this, the maximally attained braking force
is taken over into the computer.
Drive axle 1 out of the roller set.
Drive axle 2 into the roller set.
Wait for running up of driving motors.
Press the key
a
(64).
Increase the braking force slowly until the automatic slip deacti-
vation reacts.
If no slip deactivation is obtained with vehicles equipped with
brake force regulating systems, then
Press the key
S
(58).
By this, the maximally attained braking force is taken over into the
computer.
