Operating Modes
The Rugboard supports two operating modes:
- Wireless operation (on battery) without power supply
- Plugged operation, with or without battery inserted
If the battery is inserted, and the external power supply
plugged in, the battery is being charged automatically, even
while the rugboard is not switched. Same thing while the
rugboard is parked in the optional DockinStation.
i
For best possible lifetime and performance of the battery,
it is recommended to completely charge the battery, and
then discharge it completely by unplugging the power
supply while the Rugboard is on. Repeat this procedure
five times before starting regular operation.
