As soon as you power-on your phone, you will see the Home screen. This screen provides quick
access to the things you need most, and key information concerning the current operating
status of your phone.
The Locked interface, by default, will come up after 30 seconds of inactivity. To restore
the home screen, slide the screen downwards using the stylus or your finger.
The home screen contains three default shortcuts, located in the bottom of the display.
For a complete list of all the available applications on the phone, choose the Menu option
located on the lower left corner of your home screen. You will also see a system bar on the
bottom, with four additional shortcuts for your convenience.
You can dial a telephone number quickly and easily from your home screen. Simply touch
the phone icon to open into the dial interface. From that menu, you can choose SIM 1 or SIM 2
to make the call.
The call center will also allow you to add a contact to your list or send a MMS or SMS to
that number.
To answer a call, press the Answer/Send key or tap on Answer on the left side of the screen
to accept it. To end a call, or to reject an incoming communication, press the
Power/End key or tap on Reject on the right side the screen
You also have the option of choosing Silent to disable the ringer prior to answering or
rejecting an incoming call.
Emergency calls can be made using the numbers provided by your network operator, even
when your phone is locked or the SIM card is not inserted. Please contact your cellular
service provider for details, as emergency numbers and availability vary by country.
Messaging lets you send text and multimedia messages to any contact that has an SMS or MMS
device. The multimedia messages include photos, video clips contact information, and voice
memos. What’s more, you can send messages to several contacts at the same time.
To launch the application, tap on the
Messaging center
shortcut located on the home
screen, and go to
Write message
. Then choose the type of message you wish to create:
SMS
or
MMS
.
Tap on the screen to activate the keyboard and start composing your message.
When done, click on the
Down arrow
icon, followed by
Options
to attach photos, video
clips, or voice memos, if desired.
From this menu, choose an existing contact from your list or add a new recipient phone
number.
Once the necessary fields are filled out, press
Send
to transmit your message.
