6.2 Heating baby food
2. Connect the mains plug to a suitable mains
socket (see “3. Technical data“ on page 17).
Caution!
Do not heat frozen food, as this may
cause the jar or bottle to explode. Allow frozen
food to thaw in the refrigerator or at room
temperature before heating it.
3. Open the jar or bottle (see Figs.
and
4. Put the jar or bottle in the centre of ring
insert
(see Fig.
).

again within 2 seconds if you are
heating jars of food. Orange LED

comes on.

8. To end heating early, press dial
again.
Note:
• The different natures of food and of
containers mean we are unable to specify an
exact position/time for heating. Just
experiment, and you will soon find the ideal
setting.
• At too high a setting, there is a risk of the
baby food being heated for too long, so we
recommend that you gradually work out the
ideal food temperature using small
increments on the scale.
Caution!
Food in glass jars tends to overflow
when heated. Avoid food overflowing into glass
dish
, as the dish may be damaged. Stir the
food in the jar regularly to stop this happening.
9. Hold the jar firmly with bottle tongs
so that
you do not burn yourself on the hot surface.
10.Stir the food regularly.
Once the set heating time has elapsed, the
appliance automatically switches to "Keep
warm" mode for 20 minutes.
11.Press dial
to end "Keep warm" mode.
