When descaling, do not leave the
vinegar solution in the device for
more than 30 minutes. Otherwise you

3.3 MAINTENANCE & SPARE
PARTS
Regularly check the device for damage
before use. Particular attention should be
paid to the integrity of the seals and sound
condition of the power cable. Please also
refer to section 4 in the event of a problem.
Never use a defective device or a
device with defective accessories.
Note:
Store replacement seals in a safe
location, where they are readily retrievable!
Damaged parts must be replaced with
genuine spare parts. Complaints should be
directed to the relevant contact address for
your country. The warranty will be rendered
void by independent repairs to the device
during the warranty period as well as by the
use of non-genuine spare parts or
accessories not listed in these operating
instructions.
Note:
The NUK contact address for your
country can be found at the end of these
instructions.
Repairs must only be performed by
electronic device specialists. Never
repair the power cable.
3.4 STORAGE AND
TRANSPORT
We recommend that you retain the
packaging of the NUK Baby Menu so that
the device can be packaged securely for
transport.
After use and cleaning of the spare parts,
the device should only be assembled after
these are completely dry. The lid of the
water tank should be removed in the case of
extended periods of non-use.
3.5 DISPOSAL
3.5.1 Packaging
When you wish to dispose of the packaging,
please observe the relevant environmental
regulations for your country.
3.5.2 Equipment
The symbol with the crossed-
out rubbish bin on wheels
means that within the European
Union, the product must be
disposed of to a sorted rubbish
collection. This applies to the
product and all accessories
which are marked with this symbol. Marked
products must not be disposed of via the
regular domestic waste but must be handed
in to a recycling centre for electrical or
electronic devices. Recycling helps to
reduce the use of raw materials and to
relieve the environment. It is therefore
imperative that you follow the disposal
regulations applicable in your country.
