Chapter 4: Additional Local Configuration
Copy Device
If you are configuring this TouchPoint Console to track copy transactions, you can check the copy pulse detection
settings that are required for your specific device. These settings must be correct to ensure accurate copy count. Refer
to your device documentation for these settings, then access the TPC Administrative Options to view the following:

On the Administrative Options screen, press Copy Device.

In the Copy Device screen, view the following options to determine if they are operating correctly for your device:

Press Test to verify the pulses detected and the time associated with the pulse. The On/Off Report area updates to
display each detected pulse and the number of milliseconds associated with the pulse.

Press Stop Test. The High and Low LED display updates to show you the current pulse status.

Press OK to modify the settings in the copy driver and update the server.
Option
Description
Min Copy Pulse On
Time
The minimum positive pulse time the copier recognizes and counts as a transaction, measured in
milliseconds.
The default value is 30 ms.
Min Copy Pulse Off
Time
The minimum negative pulse time the copier recognizes and counts as a transaction, measured
in milliseconds.
The default value is 25 ms.
Max Copy Pulse On
Time
The longest pulse the Console recognizes and counts as a transaction, measured in milliseconds.
The default value is 5000 ms.
