Settings
Data usage
Enable/disable mobile data communication or set upper limit of data
communication. Also set a period of time for measuring amount of
communication.

From the Home screen, "apps folder"→ "Settings" →
"Connections" → "Data usage"
• Data usage screen appears.
• Set "Mobile data" ON to enable Internet access via mobile networks.
• Tap "Mobile data usage" to display mobile data communication
usage (Estimate) by each period or each app. Tap to limit of
mobile data communication usage and set to alert when limit
reaches on the chart. To set limit, set "Set data limit" ON.
Limiting background data communication
On the data usage screen, tap "Data saver" → tap
to restrict
mobile data communication automatically made by apps.
Tap "Allow app while Data saver on" to restrict usage of mobile data of
Individual apps.
Displaying status of Wi-Fi use
On the data usage screen, tap "Wi-Fi data usage" to display estimated
amount of Wi-Fi data usage for a period and for each app.
Restricting use of Wi-Fi network for using Wi-Fi tethering
Tap "Restrict networks" to prevent background apps from using
specified Wi-Fi network.
Information
• Displayed data traffic volume is an estimate. It may be different from
the actual one. You can check your data traffic volume at My docomo.
• Note that mobile data communication will suspend when data usage
volume reaches to the limit. To resume mobile data communications,
tap the "TURN ON MOBILE DATA" on the popup screen for "Mobile
data turned off" or change the maximum amount of data that can be
used.
Airplane mode
Disable all wireless connections.

• Alternatively, tap "Airplane mode" on the notification panel to switch
setting.
• If you enable "Airplane mode", Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and functions of the
NFC such as reader/writer, P2P, etc. turn OFF. However, you can turn
them ON again during Airplane mode.
NFC/Osaifu-Keitai settings
Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai function, or set to permit/deny sending/receiving
of a content/file etc. via Reader/Writer, P2P function.

• Enable "Reader/Writer, P2P" before using.
Tap & pay
Set whether to enable the service that can be
used holding over a reader, such as Osaifu-Keitai
compatible service. → P.107
