5.2.2. Initialization of Servo Parameters
The parameters have been initialized at the shipping of the Megatorque Motor System. The initialization
is not required for the first operation of the System.
1) Turn off the Servo ON signal (SVON, the connector CN2).
2) Execute the command TS (Tell settings) to read out the servo parameter. Then input the
command TS1.
Firstly the parameter PG (Position gain) is read out. Then each input of SP key scrolls to
following parameters that belong to the group TS1. Record the parameter values for future
reference.

Then execute the command TS2 in the same way as above and record the readouts.

4) Input the password. The screen displays an acknowledgement.

5) Input the command SI (Set initial parameters) to initialize the parameters. The initialization will
start.

The prompt “: (colon)” will appear when the initialization completes.
