4. RS-232C Communication and USB Communication

4.2.1.  Setting Application Software 

 

First, set the application software "EDD MEGATERM" on the Windows 7/10-based PC. 

1)

 

Download the application software "EDD MEGATERM" from the NSK website.

 

2)

 

Execute setup.exe in the downloaded folder to follow the instructions to install. 

3)

 

Execute WinUSB.vbs in the downloaded folder and follow the instructions to install. 

4)

 

Execute vc_redist.x86.exe or vc_redist.x86.exe in the downloaded folder and follow the 
instructions to install. 

5)

 

Start the EDD MEGATERM in the menu Start Menu > All Programs > EDD MEGATERM 
Ver.X.X.X. 

 

For details, refer to readme.txt in the downloaded folder.
