Intended Use
The NRS Healthcare Walking Frame Range is
intended for use by people who have difficulty
walking and require support.
Height Adjustment
·
Remove product from its packaging.
·
Check for damage. If you see any, or suspect
a fault, do not use, contact your supplier
immediately.
·
Ideally the frame height should be set or
checked by suitably qualified healthcare
professional.
·
When the height is set correctly the user
should be able to maintain an upright
posture with their elbow slightly bent, this
will allow body weight to transfer through
the frame when walking.
·
To adjust height, press in the spring button,
turn the leg slightly and slide up or down to
the required height, turn leg back until the
button springs back into the appropriate
hole.
·
Check all spring buttons are fully located in
the mating holes before use.
·
When using a non wheeled version, check
all legs are at the same height and the
frame is level.
·
When using a wheeled version we advise
the rear legs are set one hole higher than
the front wheels to compensate for the size
of the wheel, failure to do so could
adversely affect the stability of the frame
and change the position of the handles.
