Which functions can be set using
WinEMP/PalmEMP?
The NRI software solutions WinEMP or PalmEMP serve the purpose of
diagnosing and configuring NRI coin validators as well as updating the data
blocks in the device memory.
WinEMP
is PC software and part of a programming station for the workshop.
For more information, please see the section "Accessories" in Chap. 10
"Technical data".
PalmEMP
is software which can be installed as an additional application on
a Palm handheld. If the Palm handheld is linked to the coin validator via a
dongle (see section "Accessories" in Chap. 10 "Technical data"), the
G-18.mft can be directly configured on site inside the vending machine.
Both programs identify the connected coin validator and its device-own data
and present them on the screen of your PC or on the Palm handheld display
for the purpose of inspection or configuration.
The device functions listed below can be set using WinEMP/PalmEMP (see
separate software instructions).
• Optimize acceptance of genuine coins and rejection of false coins
(acceptance band adjustment following the insertion of genuine coins
and false coins)
• Prices
• Not installed chutes
• Smallest coin value
(as a reference value and basis of calculation for all coin values)
• New coins/tokens
(creating a new acceptance band and assigning a coin value)
• Data block download for current coin information
The WinEMP and PalmEMP functions that are relevant for the
vending machine control system of the G-18.mft are currently being
revised.
