Programming the drive head
This section describes the normal programming of the drive head during
installation. Programming the control unit is menu-driven.
•
Pressing button (D) opens the menu. The digit on the display (A) indicates the
menu step.
•
After approx. 2 seconds, the display (A) starts flashing and the setting can be
changed using buttons (B) and (C).
•
Press button (D) to save the setting. The programme automatically moves on to
the next menu step. By pressing button (D) repeatedly, you can skip menu
steps.
•
To quit the menu, press button (D) repeatedly until “0” is displayed again or until
the display goes out.
•
Outside the menu, button (B) can be used to generate a start pulse.

Preparation
1.
Make sure that the garage door is securely connected to the motor head.
2.
Make sure that the antenna is correctly positioned (fig. 4-5, page 55).
3.
Make sure that you have all hand transmitters for this garage door at hand.
4.
Open the service flap at the control unit.
5.
Connect the power cable of the control unit to a mains socket. The point
display (A1) lights up.

Loosen the screws of the cover and remove the cover.

Break out the tab on the side of the drive head housing with a pair of pliers.

Route the connection cable along the lever arm and attach it with cable ties. Make sure that
the cable has sufficient freedom of movement.

Connect the cable of the wicket door contact to the second and third position on the terminal
block.

Put the cover back on the housing and screw it down.
(Remove 8k2 resistor from terminal G in the control unit)
Checking
Open the wicket door.
•
The display at the control unit shows “1” if the operator is switched
on.
