XLP 51x standard: Inserting leporello material
WARNING!
Danger of crushing fingers when closing the front hood.
► Always use the grip to open or close the front hood.
WARNING!
Danger of rotating parts drawing items in!
► Don´t wear loose long hair (if necessary, wear a hairnet).
► Keep loose jewellery, long sleeves, etc. away from rotating parts of the printer.
► Always close the front hood before printing.
WARNING!
The print head can become hot during operation!
► Be careful whenever touching the print head.
The illustrations in this chapter show a XLP 514. In case that the operation of the XLP 516 differs in
some points, this is indicated at the relevant point in the text
Before you begin
• Printer is stopped (“Home” screen)
• The label material is available as leporello
Procedure
1.
Open the front hood.
2.
Open the print head pressure lever.
3.
Place label material (A) behind the printer.
4.
Push the material over the material unwinder. Push the guiding disk up to the edge of the material
without clamping the material.
The side of the label material to be printed faces upwards. Alternatively, the material can be
fed from below through the slot in the printer base (picture above, B).
5.
