Open the print head pressure lever:

Loosen the ribbon between the mandrels.
3.
Remove both rolls of ribbon simultaneously from the mandrels. Pull away the ribbon sideways
from the print head:
Store your frequently used ribbons as pairs of rolls (fig. below).
You can insert another pair of rolls as follows:
