To view the end-user access windows:

Point the IE browser to port 88 of your Novell ZENworks Network Access Control ES. For
example, if the IP address of your Novell ZENworks Network Access Control ES is 10.0.16.18,
point an IE browser window to:
http://10.0.16.18:88

16.12 How Novell ZENworks Network Access
Control Handles Static IP Addresses
The following list details how Novell ZENworks Network Access Control handles static IP
addresses:
Š
Inline Mode — Novell ZENworks Network Access Control can detect, test, and quarantine
static IP addresses. The end-user cannot circumvent a quarantine.

DHCP mode
Š Novell ZENworks Network Access Control can detect and test static IP addresses but
cannot quarantine static IP addresses.
Š
Novell ZENworks Network Access Control can detect static IP endpoints in two different
ways:
Š
Any type of traffic from the endpoint can be detected if that endpoint has any
network traffic visible by Novell ZENworks Network Access Control
Š
By using the Agent Callback feature (see Section 5.1.1, “Agent Callback,” on
page 157 ).
Š An endpoint with a static IP address can be automatically tested only if the endpoint:

Has credentials stored for agentless testing.
Š Already has the agent installed.
