GT7800
The GT7800 is a GNSS Time Synchronization Receiver that uses NovAtel’s OEM729™ receiver to provide highly
precise timing when used on its own or connected with an external oscillator. Standard interfaces are provided through
conventional connectors, eliminating the need for hard to find and expensive custom cables. The
GT7800 also fea-
tures advanced Ethernet support for remote configuration and access of receiver data.
Capable of tracking all present and upcoming Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) constellations and satellite
signals, the GT7800
is a simple to use system that is software upgradable to provide the custom performance required
for your application.

Additional Equipment Required
Depending on the application, some or all of the following will be required:
•
1 BNC-BNC (male) cable assembly for connecting to External Oscillator port
•
1 TNC-TNC (male) 50 ohm coaxial cable for connecting to the Antenna port
•
1.8 m null modem cable (NovAtel Part #01017658, may contain DEHP), DB-9 female/female to connect to COMs 1, 2 or 3.
User provided cables for COM1-RS422, CAN0 and CAN1 connection, as necessary.
•
A Microsoft Windows-based computing device with a RS-232 DB-9, USB port or 10/100BASE-T port
•
A +9 VDC to 36 VDC power supply, capable of supplying at least 10 W
•
A quality antenna, such as NovAtel’s VEXXIS
®
GNSS-500 or GNSS-800 Series or our fixed reference GNSS-750 Wideband
Chock Ring Antenna. Refer to our web site:
