<number of
messages>
x
x = total number of messages one desires to read from the memory. A user can choose to
read 1 message in which case x = 1 or the user can read all messages in which case x = the
total number of messages available in the log (use the $MSGLOGRD? command to determine
the total number of messages available for the log of interest).
Note: x cannot be greater than the total number of stored messages in the queue.
<starting
index>
y
y = starting index number of messages that are stored in the memory.
NOTE: y cannot be greater than total number of stored messages for the log.
Notes
If AT&F is performed, the message log buffer will be cleared.
The message logs are cleared when the modem id is changed (AT$MDMID).
The message logs work on a FIFO basis. I.e. when a log is full the oldest messages are deleted
to make room for new messages.
