3 Installation
3.1 Park Air T6 standalone installation
You must have a suitable AC and/or DC supply and a suitable antenna. An accessory Park Air S2 headset is
required for a functional test of the installation.

3.1.1 Connect the cables
(1)
Make sure the antenna cable is correctly connected.
(2)
Make sure the AC and/or DC supply cable/s is/are correctly connected.
3.1.2 Switch on the radio

To make sure the radio is operational:
(1)
Make sure the Status Indicator is blue
(2)
Do an operational test in accordance with local regulations or when required by the user.
Dangerous voltage
You must be suitably qualified to terminate a mains supply to the equipment.
Earth connection
This equipment must be earthed. The earth terminal of the AC connector must be used as the safety
earth.
AC and/or DC supply
The power cord/s is/are the radio’s disconnect supply device/s.
AC supply fuse rating
The radio AC supply must have a 5 Amp time-delay fuse fitted.
AC socket-outlet
The AC socket-outlet must be installed near the radio and must have easy access.
