As an alternative, the
Park Air J4-4WEMSWITCH 2 way audio 4 wire E & M line switch
(referred to in this section
as the J4 E & M line switch) can be used to control main/standby audio operation:
2.2.4 Auto-tune cavity filter connectivity
There is a FILTER connection on the rear of the radio:
When two radios are paired a J4 E & M line switch is used:
J4 LINK cable
Do not use a standard CAT 6 cable to connect a pair of radios’ LINK connectors. The white J4 LINK
cable is a non-standard cable and must be used. It connects a pair of radios configured for automatic
ACTIVE/INACTIVE control with the Park Air J4-4WEMSWITCH. Only pins 3 and 7 are connected.
