Safety
Note:
Light emitted from LEDs is particularly strong. Do not
look directly into the LEDs while the lantern is on.
• Do not place the lantern where it could risk falling into
water or other types of liquid.
• Never subject the lantern to high temperature, dust, heavy
vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Always handle the lantern with care. Certain parts are
made of glass and can be easily broken.
• Do not let children play with the lantern.

Operating instructions
1. Turn the battery cover at the bottom of the storm lantern to
open it. by following the markings on the cover itself.
2. Insert 2 × D/LR20 batteries (sold separately) according to
polarity markings inside the battery compartment in order
to ensure correct insertion.
3. Refit the battery cover.
Turn on the lantern and adjust the brightness with
the brightness control knob.
Care and maintenance
• Clean the lantern using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only
mild cleaning agents for cleaning, never solvents or
corrosive chemicals.
• Remove the batteries and store the storm lantern out of
reach of children if it is not to be used for any significant
period.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not
be disposed of with general household waste. This
applies throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent
any harm to the environment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal, the product
must be handed in for recycling so that the material
can be disposed of in a responsible manner.
When recycling your product, take it to your local
collection facility or contact the place of purchase.
They will ensure that the product is disposed of in
an environmentally sound manner.
