Mounting the Passport 5430 in an Equipment Rack
To mount the Passport 5430 in an equipment rack, you need the following
equipment:
•
Two flange brackets (shipped with the Passport 5430).
•
Two angle brackets (shipped with the Passport 5430).
•
Two cable looms (shipped with the Passport 5430).
•
A standard equipment rack. If the rack does not have threaded rail holes, you
must attach the 8 cagenuts shipped with the Passport 5430.
•
Four panhead screws (shipped with the Passport 5430).
•
Four flathead screws (shipped with the Passport 5430).
•
Eight #10 cagenut screws and four #10 washers (shipped with the Passport
5430).
•
A Phillips screwdriver.
To install the Passport 5430 in a rack:
1.
Measure at least 7 in. (17.7 cm) of free vertical space inside the rack and
mark the spot.
2.
Determine how you want the Passport 5430 to fit in the equipment rack.
How you attach the flange brackets determines how far the Passport 5430
extends outside or remains inside the rack.

Note:
