Telephone Company Requirements
Repair Instructions
If you experience trouble with this equipment, follow this procedure:

Determine whether the problem is in your data terminal equipment. If you
have other data terminal equipment, connect it in place of the inoperative unit
to determine if the data terminal equipment or the line is at fault.

If you find the problem is in your Nortel equipment, contact your customer
service representative.
The telephone company may ask you to disconnect this equipment from the
network until the problem has been corrected or you are sure that the equipment is
not malfunctioning.
User’s Responsibility
You must supply the following information upon request:
• Whether the notification is about a connection or disconnection
• The manufacturer of the device – Nortel Networks
• Model number of the device: Passport 4460AC: 205683-A
• FCC Part 68 (U.S.A.) – (see label on module for registration number)
• CS-03 (Canada)
• Jack to be used – RJ-48 or RJ-11 (see specific module description)
Warning:
Do not attempt to repair the unit. Attempting to repair the unit
may cause injury, and may also damage equipment on the telephone
network. Attempts to repair the unit are violations of FCC, and/or other
applicable approval agencies, rules. Repair to this equipment can only be
made by the manufacturer, its authorized agents, or others who may be
authorized by the FCC.
