Serial Module (WAN)
Refer to the chart below for definitions of the Serial Module indicator functions
on the Passport 4460 unit.
The Serial Module indicator is dual color and lights up (green = OK; red = failure)
when the serial interface detects data transfer.
The Serial Module indicator light is tri-colored and lights up when the serial
interface is operating.
•
Green = OK
•
Red = failure
•
Amber = no signal

Everything is functioning; indicates any of the following:
•
Interface is transmitting data over the network
•
Interface is receiving data over the network
•
Interface detects a connection to another device
•
Interface is in test or loopback mode
