Installing a door
Install a door onto a NEBS 2000 frame to control access to equipment inside
the frame.
Prerequisites
• You must be familiar with “Safety considerations and best practices”
(page 53).
• You need a door from kit NTRU0192 as shown in the figures:
— “A lockable vented door NTRU0423, inside view” (page 410)
— “A lockable vented door NTRU0423, outside view” (page 411)
• The door keys are the same for all NTRU0423 doors on NEBS 2000
frames.
WARNING
Risk of injury or equipment damage by dropping a
door
The size and weight of a door can make it awkward for
one person to handle it safely while attempting to install
or remove it. Dropping a door can injure a head or a
foot, can damage whatever it hits, or be damaged on
impact. Have a helper assist handling the 18 kg (40 lbs)
door.

Verletzungsgefahr oder Geräteschäden durch Fall
einer Tür
Aufgrund der Größe und des Gewichts der Türen sollte
die Installation oder das Entfernen einer Tür stets von
mindestens 2 Personen durchgeführt werden. Das
Fallenlassen oder die unsachgemäße Handhabung der
18 kg schweren Tür kann zu Kopf- und
Fußverletzungen, Verletzung anderer Personen sowie
Sachbeschädigung oder Beschädigung der Tür selbst
führen.
