Chapter 10 – Installing the system ground
General information
of this chapter describes how to install and connect
the ground source to the Meridian 1 Option 11C Compact cabinets. Refer to
“Grounding requirements” on page 22
for detailed information about
grounding requirements.
Note: The information contained in this Chapter applies to both the
Option 11C Compact and Compact Hospitality unless stated otherwise.
WARNING
Proper grounding is extremely important.
Failure to complete the following steps could result in a system that is:
• unsafe for personnel using the equipment
• not protected from lighting or power surges
• subject to service interruptions.
Insulated ground wire must be used for system grounding.
