Installing and configuring pcAnywhere

Uninstalling pcAnywhere 11.5 

Before you uninstall pcAnywhere, ensure no pcAnywhere icon is in the taskbar 
on your desktop. If the icon is in the taskbar, right-click it and select Cancel 
Host.

To uninstall pcAnywhere

From the Windows Start menu, choose 

Settings > Control Panel

.

Double-click 

Add/Remove Programs

.

Select 

Symantec pcAnywhere,

 and then click 

Remove

.

When you are prompted to confirm, click 

Yes

.

Result: 

The Symantec pcAnywhere dialog box appears. PcAnywhere is 

uninstalled.

The system prompts you to restart the server PC.

If the server stops functioning, restart it manually.
