directory number
The number that identifies a phoneset on a switch. The directory number (DN)
can be a local extension (local DN), a public network telephone number, or an
automatic call distribution directory number (ACD-DN).
DMS
Digital multiplex switch.
DN
See directory number.
dongle
The attachment plugged into the parallel port of a server connected to a
CS 2x00/DMS switch that authenticates the serial number required at the time of
server installation.
