Replacing a tape, CD-ROM or floppy drive
This section describes how to replace a media drive (tape, CD-ROM, or
floppy drive) in the media drive carrier.
To replace a media drive
1 Remove the media drive carrier from the chassis (see “Removing
the media drive carrier from the chassis” on page 145).
2 Remove the faulty drive from the media drive carrier and save the
screws (see the diagrams that follow).
Note: To remove the tape drive or CD-ROM drive, you must first
remove the floppy drive.
