Connecting the 
ELAN cable to the 
M1 switch

To connect the ELAN cable to the M1 switch, follow these 
steps.

Step  Action

1

Connect the end of the core 0 ELAN hub cable to the 
transceiver RJ45 jack from core 0.

2

Connect the end of the core 1 ELAN hub cable to the 
transceiver RJ45 jack from core 1.

Note: The Option 11 M1 switch uses only a single transceiver 
cable connection.
