If it does not you may have a bad switch or a broken wire.

•  When input 4 comes on does output 1 come on?

If it does not the PLC may be faulted or bad.

•  When input 5 comes on does output 2 come on?

If it does not the PLC may be faulted or bad.

•  When output 1 is on is there a light on the second valve?

If there is no light on the second valve check the PLC output common. There

could be a broken wire between the PLC and the valve, or the valve could be bad.

•  When output 2 is on is there a light on the third valve?

If there is no light on the third valve check the PLC output common. There could

be a broken wire between the PLC and the valve, or the valve could be bad.

•  The width motor may be stuck and not able to turn.

5. Can you clamp a door?

When the Door Clamp button is pushed the width index should “crowd” the door

toward the front of the machine. Then it should clamp the door up.

If the machine does not crowd the door, check the following:

•  Does input 0, on the PLC, come on and stay on when you push the Door Clamp

button?

If it does not you may have a bad switch or a broken wire.

•  When input 0 comes on does output 1 come on?

If it does not the PLC may be faulted or bad.

•  When output 1 is on is there a light on the second valve come on?

If there is no light on the second valve check the PLC output common. There

could be a broken wire between the PLC and the valve, or the valve could be bad.

•  The width motor may be stuck and not able to turn.

If the machine does not clamp the door after it crowds, check the following:

•  When output 1 comes on does output 0 come on shortly after?

If it does not the PLC may be faulted or bad.

•  When output 0 is on is there a light on the first valve?

If there is no light on the first valve check the PLC output common. There could

be a broken wire between the PLC and the valve, or the valve could be bad.

6. Does the template follower go down?

When the Template Guide Plunge button is pushed the template guide should

drop down.

If it does not come down, check the following:

•  Does input 8, on the PLC, come on and stay on when you push the Template

Guide Plunge button?

If it does not you may have a bad switch or a broken wire.

•  When input 8 comes on does output 3 come on?

If it does not the PLC may be faulted or bad.
