Description 

See Figure 1.  The light tower (1) mounts to Rhino SD
electric changeover controls (2).  The light tower has a
single amber lens that illuminates when a fault occurs
during system operation.

Repair 

Use the following procedures to replace a light tower.

   WARNING   

S

Allow only qualified personnel to perform the
following tasks.  Follow the safety
instructions in this document and all other
related documentation.

S

Disconnect and lock out power to the system
before performing repairs.

Remove the Light Tower  

1.

See Figure 2.  Note the orientation of the hose
assembly (2, 3, 4A) and the upper clamp assembly
to the light tower (1).

2.

Loosen the screws (3) to remove the weld plate (5)
and clamp body half (4B).

3.

Disconnect the cable (6) from the light tower (1).

4.

Remove the screws (3), washers (8), cover plate (9),
clamp body halves (4A, 4B), and weld plate (5) that
secure the light tower (1) to the control plate (7).

Install the New Light Tower 

1.

Install the new light tower in reverse order of the
removal procedure.

2.

See Figure 1.  Make sure that the distance between
the upper clamp body and the control plate
is 24 in. (61 cm).

3.

See Figure 2.  Make sure that the upper clamp
assembly and hose assembly (2) are properly
orientated to the light tower (1).
