3. Press the green POWER pushbutton.
The power indicator lights and the system runs a self test.
The Operator Interface displays either the Auto mode screen or the
Manual mode screen, depending on the mode in use the last time power
was turned off.
NOTE:
Refer to page 50 for Celsius to Fahrenheit conversions.
When the self test is complete:

If no faults are detected then the system is ready to operate.
S
If a fault occurs during the test, touch the FAULT PAGE button.
Refer to
Troubleshooting
on page 41 to correct the problem.
4. Start your production line and run can ends through the dryer.
The system powers the induction coil and heats the can ends whenever the
motion sensor detects moving can ends. When the line stops, the dryer
automatically stops heating the ends. It automatically resumes heating
when the line restarts.
Auto Mode
The default operating mode is Auto mode. The Auto mode screen
automatically appears when the dryer is turned on. In Auto mode, the PID
loop continually adjusts the power output to achieve the temperature
setpoint.
