Cover Removal

The cover halves shield the moving parts of the pump, to protect operators

from injury. Always keep the covers installed when not servicing the pump.

1. See Figure 6-1. Loosen the screws (2) securing the pump cover

halves (1) to the pump. Remove the pump cover halves from the pump.

2. After repairing the pump, use the screws to reinstall the pump cover

halves. Tighten the screws securely.
