Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
4. Blower contactor not
energizing. E-Stop not
pressed.
Bad I/O card or open cable 2053 See Figures 6-1, and 7-3. Turn on oven.
Check SSR card to see if “BLWR” LED
(D3) is on. If “BLWR” LED is not on,
verify that I/O card LED O5 is on. If LED
05 is not on, replace I/O card.
If LED 05 is on, check of an open in
cable 2053. Repair as necessary.
Shorted motor circuitry or, bad blower
contactor, SSR card or, wiring Verify that SSR card “BLWR” LED is on.
Check for 120 VAC between A1 and A2
on blower contactor.
If 120 VAC is present, check for tripped
circuit breakers in blower circuit. Reset
breakers as necessary. If circuit
breaker(s) immediately trips, turn off
oven. Check for a short in blower motor
circuitry. Replace all shorted or
defective components. If breakers have
not tripped, replace blower contactor.
If 120 VAC is not present, turn off oven.
Remove dust cover form J8 on the SSR
card. Turn on oven on and access the
SET-UP SCREEN menu.
Check for 120 VAC between pins 6 and
7 of J8 on SSR card. If voltage is not
present, turn oven off. Replace SSR
card. If voltage is present, turn off oven.
Use an ohmmeter to check for an open
or short in the wiring.
Install dust cover on J8.
