Installation
Installation of carriage is in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:
Loosely install carriage
−
to
−
slide block socket head cap screws and
tighten in a criss
−
cross pattern to 13.5 N
m (10.0 ft
−
lb).
Loosely install carriage hard stop socket head cap screws and tighten
in a criss
−
cross pattern to 13.5 N
m (10.0 ft
−
lb).
CAUTION:
Apply Loctite 242 or 248,or equivalent removable thread locker, to
threads of carriage
−
to
−
slide block socket head cap screws.
Apply Loctite 242 or 248,or equivalent removable thread locker, to
threads of carriage hard stop
−
to
−
carriage socket head cap screws.
