Note: If LEDs are dimmed down to a level, the
MCU speed is to low to provide both, fading and
dimming, the LED fading effect is switched off,
and the LEDs are dimmed down to the level set in
the corresponding submenus 2.9 or 2.11. Then it
can happen, that while day display mode the
LEDs show the fading effect, but do not show the
fading effect while night power-down mode.
If this menu is entered, the LEDs show the chosen
setting and the LED brightness is always 100%.
With button 2 and 3 the value can be set.
Setup Example:
•
The value in this menu shall be set to 12:00:02
•
Clock is in day display mode or night power-down
mode.
•
Press button 1 (short) to enter the main menu 2.
•
Clock stops and displays the current set alarm time.
•
Press button 2 eleven times to reach submenu 2.12.
•
Press button 1 (short) to enter the submenu 2.12.

submenu 2.12.

Submenu 2.13: Setting the time for
entering night power-down mode
The display can be dimmed or automatically switched
off for a user defined time. In this menu the display
shows the entered time the display shall switch to the
night power-down mode. If the clock is set up to
AM/PM mode, nevertheless the display shall show the
time in 24h mode.
Using button 2 and 3 the chosen digit can be set. To
switch to the next position, button 1 must be pressed.
To confirm this step shifting from digit to digit, the
following digit scrolls through by using the flip over
effect. After the last digit, the first digit shall be enabled
again.
Note: The alarm function shall work even if the clock is
in night power-down mode and the tube brightness
setting is set to “00” as the alarm function activates the
clock for 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes the clock will
go back in night power-down mode in case the end of
the night power-down mode is not already reached.
Setup Example:
•
The clock shall automatically switch to night power-
down mode at 11:45:00 PM = 23:45:00 o'clock
•
Clock is in day display mode or night power-down
mode.
•
Press button 1 (short) to enter the main menu 2.
•
Clock stops and displays the current set alarm time.
•
Press button 2 twelve times to reach submenu 2.13.
•
Press button 1 (short) to enter the submenu 2.13.
•
Press button 2 (to count up) and button 3 (to
count down) to set the first digit (to '2')
•
Press button 1 (short) to jump to the second digit
•
Press button 2 and button 3 to set the second
digit (to '3')
•
Press button 1 (short) to jump to the third digit
•
Press button 2 and button 3 to set the third digit
(to '4')
•
Press button 1 (short) to jump to the fourth digit

Submenu 2.14: Setting the time for
leaving night power-down mode
This submenu is similar to submenu 2.13 but it
shows the time the display is switched to day
display mode.
If both times in submenu 2.13 and 2.14 are set
equal (same times), the display shall never switch
to night power-down mode, the settings in 2.10 and
2.11 are not considered and tubes, colons and
LEDs always have the brightness as programmed
in submenus 2.8 and 2.9.
Setup Example:
•
The clock shall automatically switch to day
display mode at 06:45:00 AM o'clock
•
