5. Maintenance
5.1. Daily inspection
Inspection before start-up

Status
Must not be in OFF-LINE mode.
Must not display any error messages
Check cable connection
and port setting.
Connection
Should be connected to the MA-3000 and
RD-5/SC-5.
Check cable connection
Power supply
The output plug of the AC adapter should be
connected to the DC jack.
The AC adapter should be connected to an
outlet with the ground.
Check power connection
Drain tank
Drain tank is empty.
Dispose waste liquid.
Pure water tank
The pure water tank should have the
necessary quantity of pure water.
Add pure water.
Mist catcher
There is no adhesion of water drop.
-Replace mist catcher
-Check the protrusion of
reaction tube.
Washing tank
Tubes should be connected to the pure
water joint and effluent joint.
Tubes should be fixed using cable ties.
The rinse sleeve should be installed in the
washing tank.
Check the connection
Table holder
Should be installed in the predetermined
position.
Adjusting the position
Shaft cap
The shaft cap should be attached to the
unused shaft.
Install the shaft cap
Table
Should not be dirty or shaky.
Clean up and install again
Leak
In the self-check at the time of instrument
start up, that there is no abnormality.
Check joint and piping
Reagent filling
Each tube should be filled up with
reagents
-Check reagent volume
-Check obstruction and
omission of the reagent
tube
-Check the pumps
Abnormal noise
When the sample changer working in, that
no abnormal noise.
Grease-up of the drive unit
Bubbling
At the time of measurement, comes out
that the foam from the bubbler.
-Check the test tube
-Check the movement of
the pump
-Check the piping
-Replace mist catcher
