Open Door
Exterior Door Handles
When the vehicle is unlocked, the exterior door handles present automatically.
You can open the door by pulling the corresponding door handle. The exterior
door handles retract automatically when the vehicle is locked, driving over 3 km/h,
or the door handles are deployed for over 20 seconds. If a door (or tailgate)
is open, the exterior door handles will not retract automatically but will retract
automatically 20 seconds after all doors are closed.
Caution
When the exterior door handles automatically retract, ensure that occupants
(especially children) keep their hands away from the door handles. Failure to do
so may result in injury.
If the vehicle is unlocked and the exterior door handles are retracted, you can
press the rear end on the exterior door handle to deploy the corresponding handle.
