6.2 Removal of the motor unit
The motor unit is located on the left-hand side of the ironer and consists of a motor and gearbox. To
replace this unit, both side guards must be removed. The unit is replaced completely.
6.1 Removal of side guards

Make the machine non-live.

Detach the machine's wall mount and move the machine out.

Detach the side guards. See Chapter 4. Remove the side guards by lifting up and moving them
outwards.
6 Replacement of motor unit

Detach the lower Galon rod

which
is attached with 2 screws

) in each
side-piece.
Fold the Galon cloth up and
place it on the work table of the ironer.

Remove the slide plate

which is at-
tached with 2 screws
(4)
at the bottom.
Insert your fingers beneath the plate
and lift it up slightly at the rear, the part
that is inside the ironer, and pull it down
and out.

Disconnect the motor cable (the con-
nection on the right-hand side of the
ironer on the inside of the side plate).

Fold up the clamps
