Hydraulic Cylinder Disassembly/Assembly
Disassembly
1
Drive the machine on a level floor.
2 Ensure that the hopper is closed
3 Turn the ignition key to “0” and engage the
parking brake
4 Open the battery/engine compartment hood with
the handle and fasten it with the support rod

Remove the machine right side bulkhead, by
lifting it to disengage it from the fasteners
6
Unscrew the connecting fittings (B) of the
hydraulic cylinder hoses (C)
Collect the hydraulic system oil in a proper
container
Plug the disconnected fittings, to prevent debris
from entering into the hydraulic system
Warning!
Hydraulic system oil is highly
corrosive.
Warning!
The hydraulic system oil
should be disposed of
properly according to the Law
in force.
7 Remove the screw (D) and remove the lower pin
(E) of the cylinder
8 Remove the cotter pin and the upper pin (F) of
the cylinder
9 Remove the cylinder (C)
Assembly
10 Assemble the components in the reverse order of
disassembly, and note the following:
•
After the installation of the cylinder (either
the same cylinder or a new one), fill the tank
with hydraulic oil up to the Max level, then
run some hopper handling (the hydraulic sys-
tem is self-bleeding); then, check the hydrau

lic system oil level
