Selecting the Video Output Signal Format
You can select the format of video output signal. The procedure is as follows.

Display the [Setup menu] screen.

Select [Video output setting], and then
press the [OK] (or right) button.
The [Video output setting] screen appears.

Use the top and bottom buttons of the
multi-selector to select the format of
video output signal.
NTSC, PAL, OFF (initial setting: OFF)

Press the [OK] (or right) button to apply
the selection.
The [Setup menu] screen appears again.

Selecting the Shutter Release Method
You can select whether the capture switch on the P-400R or the optional release
switch (P-RELS) is used to release the shutter. The procedure is as follows.

Display the [Setup menu] screen.

Select [Capture input setting], and then
press the [OK] (or right) button.
The [Capture input setting] screen
appears.

Use the top and bottom buttons of the
multi-selector to set the shutter release
method.
Capture button (initial setting)
Select this if you use the capture switch
on the P-400R.
Remote release code
Select this if you use the optional
release switch (P-RELS).

Press the [OK] (or right) button to apply
the selection.
The [Setup menu] screen appears again.
