Basic Operations for Capturing an

d Playing Back

Using zoom 

This product adopts a 20x optical zoom lens allowing 16 levels of zoom 
magnifications which can be set from the LCD panel. 

 

 1 

  Direct the lens to the object, and check 

it with the LCD monitor. 

 

 2 

  Press [+]/[-] of the zoom button ( ) to 

adjust the zoom magnification. 

When you press the zoom button, the 
[ZOOM] menu is displayed. The current 
zoom magnification is displayed. Adjust the
zoom magnification while checking it in the 
live image. 

 

1, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 
12, 15, 18, 20 (16 levels) 

If the button is pressed and held over 1 
second, the zoom magnification can be 
adjusted consecutively. 
While the [Zoom] menu is displayed, if you 
press the [OK] button or no operation is 
performed for two seconds, the setting is 
applied and the ordinary display is

  About settings at the power-on time 

When the power is turned off, the setting of zoom magnifications is reset. The 
zoom magnification will return to 100% the next time the power is turned on.
