VR (Vibration Reduction) function
1. Confirm that batteries are set in the battery holder
2. Turn the VR lock knob and align the index to the
○ position (Fig. 5)
3. Push VR ON/OFF button once to turn VR ON (green LED will light
up) (Fig. 6)
* VR ON/OFF button only works when the index of the VR lock knob is
aligned to the
○
position.
* VR turns off automatically after approx. 30 minutes of turning VR on (Auto
power off function).
* When using digiscoping, camera's VR setting must be turned off.
* Since the VR function of this product is designed on the premise of using
with a tripod, using one is recommended.
* When green LED does not light up, batteries are weak and should be
replaced.
Deactivate VR function:
Turn VR OFF by pushing VR ON/OFF button once. Then turn the index
of the VR lock knob to the "LOCK" position.

Make sure that the index of the VR lock knob is turned to the clicked

position before turning VR on. Never move the VR lock knob when VR is
on. If it is moved, VR function stops forcibly, and power turns off.

When transporting, make sure that the index of the VR lock knob is in
the locked position. If it is not locked, impact or dropping may cause
problems.
・
Remove the Fieldscope body from a tripod when transporting to avoid
accidental falling or other impact that may cause damage.
・
Do not remove the battery holder from the body when VR is on (when LED
is lit). This may cause problems.
・
Image moves slightly a few seconds after VR turns on, this is normal.
・
A driving sound is heard after VR turns on. This is normal.
