Before movie recording begins (however, digital zoom of up to 2× can be applied while movies,
other than time lapse and stop motion movies, are being recorded).

Sound Settings

Adjust the following sound settings.

On (default setting)

When the camera is zoomed in to the maximum magnification, holding down

g

(

i

) triggers digital zoom.

Off

Digital Zoom will not be activated. (Except when shooting a movie).

Button sound

Turn button sound [On] or [Off].
When [On] (default setting) is selected, a beep will sound once when operations are
completed successfully, twice when focus has been locked, and three times when
an error is detected. The start-up sound will also play when the camera is turned on.

Shutter sound

Choose shutter sound from [On] (default setting) or [Off].
