Frame a photograph, focus, and shoot. In
continuous high-speed or continuous low-
speed mode (
43), the camera will record
all exposures in a single burst. In single-frame
shooting mode, one photograph will be taken each time the shutter-re-
lease button is pressed; continue shooting until all exposures have been
recorded. Shooting will end automatically if:
• No operations are performed for 30 s during shooting, or for 30 s after
the monitor has turned off during playback or menu operations
• The user selects
Reset
or
Cancel
in the mul-
tiple exposure menu and presses the multi
selector to the right
• The camera is turned off
• The battery is exhausted
• Pictures are deleted
If shooting ends before the specifi ed number of exposures have been
taken, a multiple exposure will be created from the exposures that have
been recorded to that point. If
Auto gain
is on, gain will be adjusted
to refl ect the number of exposures actually recorded. To end shooting
without creating a multiple exposure, press the button while turning
the camera off.
The
icon will blink until shooting ends.
When shooting ends, multiple exposure mode
will end and the
icon will no longer be dis-
played. Repeat steps 1–7 to take additional
multiple exposures.
