8.14.10.3 Groove position adjustment
1 . Display the menu screen (see 8.1.1 [p167]) .
2 . Press [Groove setting/adjustment] on the
menu screen.
3 . Perform adjustment so that the groove is
positioned in the center of the lens edge (±0.10 mm) by the procedure below.
1 ) Select the Adj. tab and press the
Groove position adjustment field.
2 ) To move the groove position toward
the lens front, increase the parame-
ter value.
3 ) To move the groove position toward
the lens rear, decrease the parame-
ter value.
4 ) Enter the value with the numeric
keypad, then press the Enter key .
5 ) Press [Exit] to return to the layout screen.
4 . Confirm the groove position (see 8.14.10.2 [p254]) .
5 . Repeat adjustment until the groove position is in the center of the lens edge (±0.10 mm).
6 . After adjustment, perform the following.
1 ) Backing up the EEPROM data (See 8.19.1 [p284].)
2 ) Groove depth check (See 8.14.10.4 [p256].)
