2.3 - Cooling
~ 85% of the
POwERDRIVE MD2SL
losses is located in
the coolant circuit. The remaining 15% losses are linked to
thermal radiation. electrolytic capacitors and electronic board
losses. These losses need to be removed by air circulation in
the cabinet.

2.3.2 - Air cooling
The purpose of the fan located on the cabinet roof is to
maintain a constant temperature inside the cabinet and also
to cool the passive components and circuit boards.
Never obstruct the drive ventilation. Ensure that hot air is
not being recycled via the air inlets by leaving sufficient free
space above the
POwERDRIVE MD2SL
or providing a
means of evacuating the hot air expelled by the product. If
necessary. add a suction duct.
The air inlet filters must be cleaned and changed regularly.
