5. Initializing Absolute Encoder
When using an absolute system for the first time or using it after replacing the motor, you need to initialize the
encoder.
Use the Encoder Clear function by using the Setup Panel or
Digitax SF Connect
to initialize the encoder. And then
restart your
drive
.
Only multi-turn data will be initialized and single-turn absolute data will not.
Initialize the absolute encoder before performing homing.
