Configure GPIB-PCIIA and 7210 Modes

The GPIB-PCII/IIA comes already configured to run in PCII and 7210 modes. You need to change 
the configuration to PCIIA mode.

Examine switch 9 in switch block U2. (Click here to view the 

GPIB-PCII/IIA Parts Locator 

Diagram

). Press switch 9 down on the side labeled PCIIA, as shown in the following figure.

Verify that switch 8 is pressed down on the side labeled 7210.

Note

The National Instruments NI-488.2 software requires the board to be in 7210 mode.
